ABOUT

Hello, properly

I'm an iOS engineer at MakeMyTrip, working in SwiftUI and UIKit on redRail and other parts of the app, the kind of work where a dropped frame is a support ticket, not a nitpick.

I care about the parts of the job that don't demo well: scroll hitch, cold start, the frame budget nobody notices until it's gone.

Outside work I build small, fast things: ThinPath, a featherweight SVG renderer for Apple platforms built on a flat arena architecture, and Porthole, an in-app network inspector that hooks URLSession directly, no proxy, no certificates, no desktop app.

EVERY DAY
Swift and SwiftUI, mostly, shipping and profiling a search experience a lot of people open before they've had coffee.
LEARNING
How much you can strip out of a rendering pipeline before it stops being general-purpose. Building ThinPath's flat arena taught me that the hard way.
PRINCIPLES
Ship the boring fix before the clever one. Measure before and after, not just after.
AVAILABLE FOR
Conversations about iOS performance, and anything that starts with a screenshot of a bug, or an idea for a tool nobody's built yet.
